The fourth production plant of the GROB Group locates in the Chinese city of Dalian. This plant has been officially opened on June 18th, 2012, securing long-term worldwide competitive capability for the company, strengthening our presence in the Chinese market and improving our strategic orientation in the Asian growth region. Since October 2018 the plant has been renamed as GROB Machine Tools (China) Co., Ltd.
GROB China, together with its five sales/after sales service branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang and Wuhan (Chongqing) started its initial year with about 180 employees and has now more than 700 employees. GROB China possesses comprehensive sales, design, production and service ability in China, in order to meet customers’ requirement better as market leader. Now GROB China has occupied 75% market share of Chinese automotive powertrain market.
